blog 5-300+ words: Demi Lovato's past-
In case you
haven't yet heard, Demi Lovato wasn't necessarily always looked up to while she
was growing up. Demi often got criticized and made fun of because of her looks.
Demi even admitted to cutting secretly at the age of 11. She also had a eating
disorder before she attended rehab. Her insecurities started young. Even at the
age of 4, she felt uncomfortable with herself. Cyber bullying was another cause
for her insecurities. People would comment on things according to her weight
etc.. Demi decided to take out her anger on her body because of the
stress. She said "I harmed myself. It was my way of taking my own shame
and my own guilt out on myself, and I was just depressed." in an interview
with Huffington Post.
Demi got a lot of hate from many people in her
life, but it did not stop her. Demi is now looked up to by many young kids. At
one point, Demi was even ashamed to have someone look up to her as a role model,
because she was not happy with herself. The thing is, she overcame it, and so
can you. Honestly, you can’t really love anyone else until you're able to love
yourself. It’s hard to get over insecurities, I know, but it is possible, and
Demi Lovato is a great example of that. Sometimes, we can get advice from the
people we least expect it from, and surprisingly, even celebrities have had
problems they had to deal with. If you ever feel need to feel better, just go
online, you'd be amazed by what you can find. Hope I left everyone off on a
positive note! Demi overcame her insecurities, and so can you.(:

"Ugliest Woman in the World"
Lizzie Velasquez is known as the ugliest woman in the world. Little do they know, people judge by her looks, rather than the story behind them. Lizzie Velasquez was born with a rare disease that only 3 people in the world are known to have. She was born without adipose tissue, meaning her body can't produce fat cells like most of us can.
When Lizzie was born, she had to wear doll clothes because of her size. Lizzie only weighs about 58 lbs. and has to eat every 15 minutes because of how fast it burns off. Lizzie has 0% body fat. Lizzie Velasquez is also blind in one eye, and nearly blind in the other. Luckily, her organs and brain still developed properly. The condition she has is so rare that it is undiagnosed.
Lizzie was dubbed as "The ugliest woman in the world" after she had posted a video on YouTube and got some harsh comments because of her appearance. She gets stares when she goes out in the public. She states "I think the biggest things I have to deal with is constantly people staring at me as soon as I walk into a room" in an interview with Huffington Post. She says she has always been bullied, but elementary was the worst. She's been through all kinds of tests, yet no one can figure out what she has. On top of school, Lizzie has become a motivational speaker. She says "I feel I'm really glad I don't look like the celebrities out there who are beautiful, because there are a lot of stereotypes attached to that." in an interview with Dr.Drew.
Lizzie said "I realized I don't really want a cure for this syndrome. If a doctor found a magic pill or some surgery that would help me gain weight, I wouldn't want it. All the struggles I've had made me who I am today." in an interview with ABC. Lizzie is who she is today because of her disease. Lizzie is definitely someone to look up to, and honestly doesn't deserve all the disrespect she gets. Lizzie has even wrote 2 books, and I definitely plan on reading them. Hey, as Lizzie says in her interview with Huffington Post, "Maybe you should stop staring, and start learning".

Rumors spread: Justin Bieber
At the beginning, everyone went crazy for him, to be exact it was called "Bieber Fever". well, not everyone. Not all of us are necessarily the "biggest" fans of Justin Bieber. Personally, being honest, I dont like him either. Even though i may not thing he's the best singer and puberty may have hit him late, dont think hes a bad person.
Rumor after rumor has been spread about Justin about his preferences. Everyone happens to look past the real good in celebrities, because the first thing they hear on the news or in a magazine is bad. Reporters are constantly ready to put a celebrity down because they are looked up to. Reporters want the latest gossip but why cant it be good?
Justin Bieber is a proud supporter of many different charities and foundations people rarely hear about. Justin Bieber supports 12 different foundations and charities. he supports charities like The Children's Miracle Network, City of Hope, Red Cross, etc.. The things people say, can really bring someones self's confidence down, whether they are a celebrity or not. We have to look deeper to really understand someone. Stay Positive!

All about me
In case you didn't know, I'm Kaitlyn Bernath. I am a sophomore and I'm just starting this blog fresh out of the batch. This blog will be a whole new thing for me, but I'll make it work! I've always been into fashion and music, and movies, and the best way i could possibly think of summing that up is celebrities. There's always that celebrity trash everyone talks about, but I'm here to take a positive effect on celebrities. Yes, there's a lot about celebrities that isn't very good, but behind the rumors there are some really great people out there. You may not like a celebrity for what they appear as, or what people say, but there's a lot to some celebrities you don't know. There's a lot of good they do that doesn't get noticed, and I'm going to bring that aspect into my entertainment crazy blog. If you've ever seen other celebrity blogs, they have a lot of indecency and everything bad about celebrities, but I'm not here for that. Hopefully you'll enjoy this blog, because well its basically about Everything Sweet!
